San Miguel del Bala is an eco-lodge owned by the Tacana indigenous community of San Miguel. We offer ecotourism programs so you can discover the rainforest, the pampas and Tacana culture with the people who live here.
Our private cabins are near Rurrenabaque, on the banks of the Beni River and next to our community, on the edge of Madidi National Park. From here you can explore the incredible biodiversity of the Bolivian Amazon.
Most of our team are members of the Tacana community of San Miguel. Income from tourism is reinvested in health, education and basic services for the community.
